Cowgirlboy Records
Dagmar Binge
Gerolzholfen, Germany
CowGirlBoy, Cattle and Castle are some of the reissue labels compiled by legendary German country music fanatic Dagmar Binge.
While CowGirlBoy records are generally high-quality products as far as the audio is concerned, the jackets are very simple. The "Special Souvenir Edition" jackets all look identical, regardless of the recording artist or musical content. A sheet of paper glued on the front of the jacket identifies the performer and the music on each cut. For the Wilf Carter Special Souvenir Edition "Dawn on the Prairie" this glued-on sheet was printed with an old-fashioned pin matrix printer like those used with personal computers in the 1980s.
